Out of more than 7800 state parks around the country which maintain 44,000 miles of trail and 220,000 campsites, the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area made the top five in Outside Online’s recently released rankings.
The Arkansas River is home to hundreds of thousands of rafters from Summit County locals and visitors alike and is located only 45 minutes from Breckenridge and Frisco and sits on the valley floor at the base of the Collegiate Range.
