The Northwest Colorado Council of Governments 2011 Benchmark Report was just released. The 77 page report looks at statistics for numerous categories including population, education, environment, healthcare, housing and economy.
Breckenridge was the 3rd fastest growing town in Colorado from 2000-2010 with a population increase of 89 % from 2000 – 2010.
The report also counts Summit County residents among the most educated in the state, ranking 4th with 49 % of adults 25 and older with a bachelor’s degree or higher. In the United States, Summit County ranks 25th in terms of bachelor’s degrees.
