Summer Business Looking Very Good for Mountain Towns

Lodging reservations for mountain destinations are continuing a strong upward pattern, up 16.2 % for the month of June and 17.7 % for the next six months compared to the same time last year according to information from Mountain Travel Research Program. It also revealed actual occupancy across all mountain destinations for the month of May up 11.7 %.

In Breckenridge, booking numbers for May were up 59 % compared to May 2011. June occupancy is pacing up 49 % more than compared to June 2011 and July is as well at 17 % higher than July 2011.
