Summit County took another step toward becoming a world capital of action sports when the Frisco Pennisula Bike Park opened recently.
The park’s three flow trails and pump track anchor a sprawling $ 6,000,000 playground that includes a day lodge, mountain bike trail, disk golf course, pickleball court, nordic skiing track, tubing hill and skateboard park.
Supported in part by a $ 200,000 Great Outdoors Colorado grant, the Frisco bike park was designed by local riders who spent the last 8 months building the trails and jumps.
