Frisco Wassail Days Starts Saturday

Published: November 27, 2019

The Town of Frisco celebrates all things winter and the holidays with Wassail Days, a local tradition of sampling wassail, a hot spiced cider founded back in 2008. For residents and visitors alike, this year boasts more than 60 Frisco businesses serving their versions of the drink from Saturday to December 8th.

Attendees can fill their “12 Sips of Wassail” cards, which can be redeemed at the Frisco Information Center for a 2019 Wassail Days mug while supplies last. This year’s mug showcases an original design from local artist Ashlie Weisel of Frisco’s Sunny Side Up Art Studio.

Wassail Days celebrates Small Business Saturday with local merchants welcoming everyone with their own marvelous ‘brew’ of hot cider and spices. The perfect holiday treat while you have a chance to browse local shops for unique finds.

Frisco’s events throughout the week encourage some good clean holiday fun with a dose of magic. Some of the highlights consist of a “Soup Cup Classic” with unlimited tasting and tubing at the Frisco Adventure Park and a tree lighting complete with a fireworks show to follow shortly after the tree lighting.
