Carol Gutter

Carol grew up in Westchester County, New York, and spent her summers in Fairfield, Connecticut. She has a BS, with a double major in Textiles and          Education, from the University of Rhode Island.

Carol’s first career was a teacher. During this time she raised her 2 sons, Greg and Matt, in Somers, NY. Her older son, Greg is married with 2 daughters and living in Somers, NY where he is the golf course superintendent at Mt. Kisco Country Club. Matt currently lives in Crested Butte, CO where he is an avid mountain biker, telemark skier and owns a Property Management business.

When her sons reached high school age, Carol changed careers and pursued medical sales. She landed her first sales position at the 18 mile marker of the 1982 New York City Marathon. (Carol has since completed 7 NYC and 1 Boston Marathon.) After she worked for a podiatric lab, she began a service oriented sales position with Alcon Laboratories in New York. She later became a sales trainer and then the Eastern Region National Account Manager for Alcon.

After sponsoring 5 annual Doctor’s Continuing Education Meetings during the Breckenridge ski season, Carol decided to leave Corporate America and move to Summit County permanently. She lives in Blue River with her faithful companion, Buddy, a 2-year-old yellow lab.

Since 1997, Carol has been in real estate. Her dedicated approach, business expertise, and natural energy set her apart. When she is not helping clients, Carol is skiing (downhill and cross country), snowshoeing, hiking, biking, scuba diving or participating in an outdoor activity.

Her motto:  Allow your soul the freedom to ski, dance and bask in the sun. It is there for each and every one of you.
