Dennis Clauer

Dennis grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Madison), where he was an Evans Scholar. In 1982, Dennis moved to spectacular Summit County. He has lived here for over half of his life. Dennis and his son, Jared, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, skating, snowshoeing, golfing, hiking and biking. In addition, Dennis frequently visits his other son, Tyler, who lives in Newport Beach, CA and currently is enjoying his new-found freedom sailing the Pacific Ocean after obtaining his Captain’s license. Dennis is also an avid sports fan who regularly attends Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies and Denver Bronco games.

Dennis has been practicing real estate since 1988 & after 5 years of being a broker at Real Estate of the Summit, he acquired the business in 2008. Dennis has been the Summit Association of Realtors “Realtor of the Year” on two occasions, President of the Summit Association of Realtors and Vice-President of the Colorado Association of Realtors. He created East West Real Estate with his partners and grew the Summit County real estate brokerage from one broker to 23 brokers prior to divesting of the business.
