Record skier visits, great snow and higher prices helped Vail Resorts grow revenues during the 2011 fiscal year despite lingering economic concerns, company CEO Rob Katz reports.
Vail Resorts reported revenue growth in all of the company’s primary business areas. Total mountain net revenue was up 7.7 % over the 2010 fiscal year and lodging net revenue was 9.9 % higher in the 2011 fiscal year.
“The upper part of the market continues to have more confidence” Katz said.
